Sometimes God does not open the whole door at once.
We pray for clarity because we want to see what is ahead. We want the answer, the direction, the confirmation that tells us exactly where we are going.
But sometimes all we are given is a little light beneath the door.
Not enough to see everything on the other side, but enough to know that darkness is not all there is.
We can become so focused on the door that has not opened that we overlook the light God has already allowed us to see.
Perhaps you do not need the whole answer today. Perhaps you only need enough light to recognise the next step and enough faith to take it.
The door may still be closed, but the light beneath it is a reminder: God is still there.
Grace Note:
Do not mistake limited visibility for the absence of God. You may not see the whole way forward, but you can still walk faithfully with the light you have.
